Associate MED Director, Andrea Bennett, PhD, MSW, Associate Research Director, Curtis Harrod, PhD, MPH, and Center Director, Pam Curtis, MS, recently completed a policy report in partnership with the Milbank Memorial Fund on how Medicaid agencies measure the quality of home- and community-based services (HCBS), how they pay for them, and how to encourage more cost-effective services. The report “Bundling, Benchmarking, and Beyond: Paying for Value in Home- and Community-Based Services”  was adapted from a report completed by the Medicaid Evidence-based Decisions (MED) Project, a collaboration of state agencies that work together to make the best, evidence-based decisions for improving health outcomes.
