Colorado
Through a Multi-Payer Collaborative, the Center facilitated the work of private and public health plans in Colorado to develop a framework for integrated whole-person care.
Since 2014 the Center has worked with Texas’s Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to improve processes that enable evidence-based decisionmaking and improve health outcomes for Texas’s most vulnerable populations. Initially, the Center helped HHSC design and implement a transparent and rigorous process for making medical and dental coverage decisions that are responsive to stakeholder needs. Next, the Center team assisted the HHSC implement the process by developing forms, decision algorithms and other tools, as well as training staff. Today, the Center continues in a training and consultation role, available to HHSC staff regarding evidence, training, and process implementation.
