Telebehavioral Health in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Back to News & Reports

A new resource “Telebehavioral Health in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic: What Worked, What Didn’t Work, and How Can This Shape Future Policy?” offers a summary of the effectiveness and safety of telebehavioral health and of the policy changes surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. This document is based on research done by the Center for Evidence-based Policy for the Medicaid Evidence-based Decisions (MED) Project. The tool provides a potential framework and considerations for designing and implementing postpandemic telebehavioral health policies using available evidence and policymaker experience with policy development during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
