The Center joins with Manatt Health to support Healthier Washington
The Center has partnered with Manatt Health to support the implementation of the Washington’s Medicaid Transformation within Healthier Washington. Under subcontract with Manatt Health, the Center is providing on the ground support to each of Washington’s 9 Accountable Communities of Health.
In this project, the ACH’s are developing their infrastructure and capacity to implement components of the state Medicaid Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment waiver. Each ACH is responsible for achieve key developmental milestones, leading to selection and implementation of transformation projects including value-based payment, behavioral health integration, strategies to deal with the opioid epidemic, and other required and optional projects. On May 31, each ACH met the required milestones for state certification, triggering the release of $1 million to each ACH for further development and capacity.
