Medicaid Policy Matters -Webinar 6

Data is a critical part of making policy decisions based on evidence, but what do you do when the amount of data is overwhelming to sort and understand? The Center for Evidence-based Policy created and supports several publicly available data dashboards that anyone can use to gain insights into the data that is relevant to them. State Medicaid by the Numbers is a new public resource with an interactive dashboard that profiles each state’s Medicaid program and offers a one-stop look at key information and data on program eligibility, financing, and pharmacy benefit administration. We developed the tool to give users an opportunity to learn about state Medicaid programs and to compare experiences across states in ways that support smarter, evidence-based decision making. The Oregon Child Integrated Dataset (OCID) has an updated Child Well-Being Dashboard, a tool that allows policymakers to track key indicators for children and families in Oregon.

During this webinar we will discuss these dashboards and other public reporting efforts supported by the Center. We will highlight key features and demonstrate how to utilize these publicly available tools to gain insight into the data to support policy analysis and informed decision making.

This webinar was recorded live on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
